Located in a studio within the historic Manchester Unity Building on Collins Street in Melbourne, Ritchie creates exquisite hats and headpieces. Having refined her skills under the guidance of renowned milliners such as Louise Macdonald, Jane Taylor London, and Edwina Ibbotson during her time in London, Ritchie’s craftsmanship is distinguished.
Showcased on the evening is Ritchie’s debut independent collection Taminick Spring introduced in 2020. Inspired by the tranquil landscapes of Victoria’s North East Region, the collection offers a glimpse into Ritchie’s creative process. Join Lauren for an evening of dress-ups and bubbles and enjoy the rare opportunity to try on hand-made headpieces and learn about the bespoke millinery experience.

Lauren is an internationally renowned milliner with her work recognised as a finalist in the Millinery Australia Design Award two years running. Her label Lauren J Ritchie Millinery reflects a high standard of workmanship with strong and flowing design lines. Her pieces have been worn by Lord Mayor Sally Capp, VRC Ambassador Crystal Kimber and Illustrator Alexandra Nea.
